3. Account registration and management
To participate in games, you must create a personal account using accurate and complete information. Only one account is permitted per individual unless otherwise authorized. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity conducted through your account.
We may suspend, restrict or permanently close an account if we detect fraudulent activity, duplicate accounts, identity verification failures, breaches of these Terms or violations of applicable laws or regulatory requirements.
4. Identity verification and anti-money laundering
To comply with applicable laws, we may verify your identity, age, residence, source of funds and payment methods before allowing participation or processing withdrawals. Failure to provide requested documentation may result in suspension or closure of your account.
5. Deposits and withdrawals
Deposits and withdrawals are subject to identity verification, applicable limits, payment provider requirements and anti-money laundering legislation. Withdrawals may only be made to payment methods registered in the player's name. We reserve the right to request additional documentation before processing withdrawals.
6. Payments
All payments are processed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Payment methods may vary and are subject to availability, verification requirements and applicable legal restrictions.
7. Bonuses and promotional offers
From time to time, promotional offers, free-play campaigns or bonus programs may be made available. Each promotion is governed by its own specific terms, including eligibility requirements, validity periods, wagering or participation conditions where applicable. Loto-Québec reserves the right to modify, suspend or withdraw any promotion at any time in accordance with applicable law. Promotional offers have no cash value unless expressly stated. Unless expressly stated, no promotional bonus, welcome offer or other incentive is provided.
8. Prohibited activities
You agree not to:
- create multiple accounts
- provide false or misleading information
- use automated software or bots
- interfere with the operation or security of the website
- attempt to manipulate games or payment systems
- engage in fraudulent, criminal or unlawful activity
9. Account suspension and termination
We may temporarily suspend or permanently close your account where required by law or where we reasonably believe that these Terms have been breached. Reasons may include fraud, identity verification failures, payment irregularities, prohibited play, money laundering concerns or attempts to circumvent security measures. You may also request permanent account closure at any time by contacting customer support.
10. Accuracy of information
Loto-Québec takes reasonable care to ensure that the information published on this platform is accurate and current. Despite our efforts, the content may contain typographical errors, omissions or inaccuracies, and is provided for general information purposes only. We may correct, update or modify the information at any time without prior notice, and only the official records and game results maintained by the Société des loteries du Québec (Loto-Québec) are authoritative. You agree to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date personal information when registering and to keep that information current. Loto-Québec accepts no responsibility for decisions you make in reliance on information that later proves to be incorrect.
11. Prices, schedules and availability
All ticket prices, prize amounts, jackpots and balances are expressed in Canadian dollars (CAD), and tickets must be purchased before the published cut-off time for each draw. Draw schedules, advertised jackpots and game availability may change without notice; for example, Lotto Max is drawn Tuesday and Friday with jackpots up to $75M, Lotto 6/49 is drawn Wednesday and Saturday from $8M, while Grande Vie and Tirage Quotidien are drawn daily. Access to games, deposits and withdrawals depends on the continued availability of our systems, which may be interrupted for maintenance, technical issues or reasons beyond our control. Loto-Québec does not guarantee uninterrupted access and reserves the right to suspend or withdraw any game, promotion or feature at any time. Where a stated price or schedule conflicts with the official rules of a game, the official rules prevail.
12. Legal age and location
You must be 18 years of age or older and be physically located in Québec to register, deposit, play or claim a prize on lotoguebec.com. We use age and location verification, and may request identity and proof-of-residence documents at any time, suspending access while verification is completed. Any attempt to register or play by a person under the legal age, or from outside the province, is prohibited and will be blocked. We are committed to keeping our games out of the hands of minors and may report fraudulent or underage activity to the relevant authorities. Providing false information about your age or location is a serious breach of these Conditions and may result in account closure and forfeiture of funds in accordance with applicable law.
13. Lottery and game results
Winning numbers, prize tiers and payout procedures for each game are governed by the official rules of that game, which form part of these Conditions. Our games include Lotto Max (7 of 50), Lotto 6/49 (6 of 49), Grande Vie (5 of 47, $1,000 a day for life) and Tirage Quotidien (4 of 49, $250,000), along with the instants Gratteux Néon, Ruée vers l'or and Roue Chanceuse, and our casino, virtual sports, video poker and bingo sections. In the event of any discrepancy between results displayed on the platform and the official records maintained by the Société des loteries du Québec (Loto-Québec), the official records prevail. Prizes are paid only on validated, winning entries, and a ticket, transaction or display that is incomplete, corrupted, fraudulently produced or otherwise non-compliant with the rules confers no right to a prize. Results, draws and random outcomes are generated and audited in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
14. Regulation and game rules
Loto-Québec operates within the regulatory framework of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec (RACJ), and all play is subject to that framework, to these Conditions and to the official rules of each game. As a member of the World Lottery Association (WLA), we are certified at Responsible Gaming Level 4 and maintain corresponding standards for player protection. The official rules of each game set out how participations are made, how winners are determined and how prizes are paid, and you agree to comply with them. We provide free tools to set deposit, spending and time limits, take a cooling-off break or self-exclude, and we may apply controls required by the regulator. Where these general Conditions conflict with the official rules of a specific game, the official rules of that game prevail.
15. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, you may submit a complaint through our customer support team. Complaints will be reviewed in accordance with applicable Québec laws and internal procedures. Where required, regulatory authorities may also review matters falling within their jurisdiction.
16. Limitation of liability
This platform and its games are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Société des loteries du Québec (Loto-Québec) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for any loss arising from interruptions, errors, delays, transmission failures, viruses or unauthorized access affecting the platform or your device. We are not responsible for losses caused by your failure to safeguard your login credentials, by inaccurate information you provide, or by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of Québec and Canada. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Intellectual property
All content on this platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, software, game names and the overall design, is the property of the Société des loteries du Québec (Loto-Québec) or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. The names lotoguebec, Lotto Max, Lotto 6/49, Grande Vie, Tirage Quotidien and associated marks may not be used without our prior written consent. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for lawful, non-commercial play in accordance with these Conditions. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, frame, scrape or create derivative works from any part of the platform without our authorization. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
18. Domain names
The domain names, subdomains and Web addresses used to operate lotoguebec.com belong to the Société des loteries du Québec (Loto-Québec) and may not be registered, reserved or used by any third party in a manner that is identical or confusingly similar to our marks. You may not use our name, marks or domain names in your own domain registrations, email addresses, social media handles or advertising without our prior written consent. Any registration or use that seeks to impersonate lotoguebec.com, divert traffic, or mislead players is strictly prohibited and may infringe our rights. We reserve the right to take any action available under applicable law to protect our domain names and online identity. Players should always confirm they are on an official lotoguebec.com address before entering any personal or payment information.
19. Links to other sites
This platform may contain links to third-party websites or resources that are provided solely for your convenience. Loto-Québec does not control these external sites, does not endorse them and is not responsible for their content, products, services, security or privacy practices. Accessing any linked site is done at your own risk, and you should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit. The presence of a link does not imply any association, sponsorship or partnership unless expressly stated. We may add, modify or remove links at any time and accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party sites.
20. Links to our platform
You may link to the lotoguebec.com home page provided that you do so in a fair and lawful way that does not damage our reputation or take unfair advantage of it. You must not frame our pages, present our content as your own, or suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement by Loto-Québec where none exists. Links must not be placed on sites that promote illegal activity, that are unlawful, defamatory or otherwise objectionable, or that target persons under the legal age. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission at any time and without notice. Any unauthorized linking that misrepresents our brand or misleads players may infringe our rights and will be addressed under applicable law.
21. Language
These Conditions are published in both French and English for your convenience. In accordance with the laws of Québec, the French version of these Conditions shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy, ambiguity or conflict between the two language versions. The English text is provided as a courtesy translation and does not modify the meaning of the French version. This rule applies equally to our Privacy Policy, the official rules of each game and other communications offered in both languages. Our support service Jeu : aide et référence is available in both French and English.
22. Specific conditions prevail
These general Terms and Conditions apply alongside the Specific Online Gaming Conditions of Use and the official rules of each game. Where any provision of these general Conditions conflicts with the Specific Online Gaming Conditions of Use, the Specific Online Gaming Conditions of Use prevail to the extent of the conflict. Likewise, the official rules of a particular game govern matters concerning that game, such as how participations are made, how winners are determined and how prizes are paid. Together these documents form the complete agreement between you and the Société des loteries du Québec (Loto-Québec) regarding your use of lotoguebec.com. You are responsible for reviewing the applicable specific conditions before playing any game.
23. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of lotoguebec.com, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You agree that the courts of the province of Québec have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim. Our activities are carried out within the regulatory framework of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec (RACJ), and nothing in these Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable Québec law. If any provision of these Conditions is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect. This choice of law and jurisdiction applies regardless of where you access the platform from.
24. Changes to these Conditions
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, our games, our practices or applicable law. The effective date shown above indicates the most recent revision, and we encourage you to review these Conditions periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email, and your continued use of lotoguebec.com after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Conditions. If you do not agree with a change, you should stop using our services and may close your account. Earlier versions are superseded by the current version published on this page.
