Self-Exclusion

1. What self-exclusion does
Self-exclusion lets you block your own access to play on lotoguebec for a period you choose. While it is active, you cannot place wagers, join draws or make deposits, and all promotional messages are stopped. It is a firm commitment to yourself: unlike a short break, self-exclusion cannot be lifted early. This is by design, so the decision stays in effect even on a difficult day.
2. Choosing a duration
You decide how long your self-exclusion lasts. Common options range from a few months to one year or longer, and some players choose an indefinite exclusion. Choose the period that gives you the room you need; a longer choice is always available. When the period ends, access is not restored automatically. You must actively confirm that you wish to return, and a further reflection delay applies before play resumes.
3. How to self-exclude
Sign in, open your account, choose Self-exclusion, select your duration and confirm. The exclusion takes effect immediately. Because it cannot be reversed before it ends, please take a moment to be sure of your choice before confirming. If you would prefer a shorter, reversible step first, the Breaks page offers time-outs, and the Gambling Limits page lets you tighten deposit, spending and time limits instead.
4. Support during exclusion
Self-exclusion is most effective alongside support. Your exclusion is managed directly through the lotoguebec self-exclusion programme, operated by lotoguebec inc., and applies across all of our games and platforms. To extend your protection beyond our platform, you can also speak with a counsellor about additional self-exclusion options available in Quebec. Throughout your exclusion, free, confidential and bilingual help is available 24 hours a day across Quebec through Jeu : aide et référence at 1-800-461-0140 or online at aidejeu.ca.
5. Returning to play
Coming back should be a calm, considered choice. When your exclusion period ends, take time to reflect on whether you are ready and on the limits you want in place before you return. We recommend setting firm deposit, spending and time limits from the Gambling Limits page as soon as you reactivate, so your return stays comfortable and in your control.
